94 civic Distributor, Can't get the rotor off.
I looked around on here and didn't see any posts about my current situation,
I'm taking my cap and rotor off for inspection and cant seem to get the rotor off.
The screw is not lined up with that little area where you can get the screw driver in. Mine is slightly to the side of that and i start digging into the cover when i unscrew the screw enough.
Not sure if this is a problem or not. But the cap looks brand new no scorch marks or carbon anywhere so i may just leave the rotor be unless i need to inspect the back side of it.

Its better to just take the extra couple seconds and replace the rotor.
If the screw is not lined up so the screwdriver can get to it, you rotate the crank by hand until its accessible.

Thanks, I got it. The cap has no oil inside it what so ever. But the edges of the cap all around it has oil on it. Is that bad or normal?
The little white part on the rotor that seems to have a piece of metal between it. The center of that piece of metal looks brownish or burnt but the edges look like new silver metal. Should this be replaced or is this normal as well?
I also seem to have a little burn spot on one of my plugs. It doesn't seem like it goes all the way though but I'll let you be the judge of that as I will post a picture.
