'94 Civic CX ACP Electric
This Civic was converted to electric in 1994 by Alan Cocconi. This was one of the first electric vehicles with an AC Propulsion logo on it. In many ways it is the precursor to the MINI-E.
People who know the name Cocconi might say this is sacrilege by modifying the work of such a genius. I can't speak for Alan, but I don't believe he's the kind of guy to hold on to the past. So now we're taking out the lead-acid batteries, updating the motor and installing power electronics. To the extent that our budget permits, we will prep the car for SCCA autocross.
