Default 94 auto tranny in a 97?

just trying to find out for a buddy what is compatable. I have a 94 EX auto tranny and he has a 97 will the trannies swap?

I just read here that the manuals swap, I wouldn't know about the auto's but check if the connection plugs are the same and check the positioning of the bolts that hold it to the block, and ask a tranny shop...

i have no doubt in my mind about it bolting up. It woudl just be electrical stuff to consider. any one else?
