93 EX D16Z6 TO D16Y8 SWAP
What do I need to do to do this. I need to know about the snesors, since Iy wont have the d16z6 intake on, what should I do with the iat sensor? also there will be some other things that will obviously not plug in. I basically need to know how to wire, connect and plug the stuff in thanks

Use a chipped OBD-I ECU with a Y8 basemap. Then uncheck IAT and secondary O2 sensor. It'll plug right up, run fine, no CELs.
You'd be stupid to get an OBD-I to OBD-IIa conversion harness and run the Y8 ECU.
PS: You're gonna regret this, the Y8 does have 2 more HP than the Z6, but the Z6 is faster in every way, shape, and form.
The Y8's got more "practical" power - more of an "easier" torque curve so you have more power at lower RPM (so you don't have to wind the **** outta it) while the Z6 is more linear until the drop off.
Anyways, chipped OBD-I ECU FTW!
If you're looking for a company to do the chipping, I'd say give THC07 a holla, he chips ECUs, and I never had a problem. Or if you wanna go with a company I'd go with phearable.net before I went with kenji.

Re: 93 EX D16Z6 TO D16Y8 SWAP (MeanGreenMachine)
I already have the engine in, I am just using this as a daily driver. Like I said it a 93 ex with an d16y8 engine with the d16z6 fuel rail exhaust mani injectors alternator. and exhaust mani. When I start the car it will go up in rpms then go down, a couple times, then it will be steady, but it seems to idle a little high. Then after driving it for a while it will when I am at a stop light rev up and down on its own. Now I just need to know suggestions comments and things you think it may be. It has an aem cai from the original engine on it, there are two holes in the intake (the first two) that have nothing to put in them. My yellow iat sensor doesnt have anything to plug into, cause the 93 intake mani, had a place where you bolted that on. On the right side of my engine there is a light gray plastic piece I guess it covers the cam gears and such, there is a plug from the harness there with nothing around it that it looks like it could go into. Then there is also a plug on the left side coming out of the block with nothing to it, then there is a plug kinda next to it but they wont go into each other
