Default 93 ej2 build (Madison)

Sup HT!!, building my rusty dd I bought this yr in February for $700. It's a 93 Aztec green ej2 or civic coupe dx, 203k automatic with the trans slipping. Any who on 2 the pics with my idiot cousin in the pics as well hahaha.

OH that rust

Just the driver side seat is ripped everything else is ok. My plan is: convert 2 manual, a b16a or ls turbo with close to 350whp for now

So your plan is a turbo b-series...yet you are starting with a $700 rusty auto pile that was worth $500 or less? Doesn't make sense, but goodluck with the project.

Should've paid out more coin. Kinda sets the tone for your whole build. Duct tape? Really?

I didn't buy that holset out of a junkyard dude came off a running 97 dodge 5.9L turbo diesel besides it's just the turbine housing that's old and? Internal wise it's good I just get a new housing or clean mine but don't want too. Also my friend at his body shop is charging me close to 2k to fix the rust and painting my new driverside fender, an fixing the doors an im ok with that!!!!. Last thing the Ls is good just cause the valve cover is dirty an flaking you assume it's from the junkyard the heck? An what if it was? Is it your problem?. Looks like you don't know about holset turbos buddy.

*$52 in just bolts an nuts from acura automotiveparts.org good bye budget build haha.
Upper an lower alternator bolts an nuts also the 5 bolts that connect the trans 2 the block which the part number for those bolts is look under ENGINE WIRE HARNESS-CLAMP (2)
23-90050-PG7-000 BOLT, FLANGE (12X65) qty 2
24-90051-PE0-000 BOLT, FLANGE (12X70) qty 3

I was going to just get the bolts from fastenal cause I know the thread pitch etc but prices weren't that far apart.

More goodies from honda Oem timing belt, timing belt tensioner, shift linkage pin an clip $151 total. not shown in the pic is the water pump from AA.

Like it matters. As if it's some kind of rare color or something.
