i got a 93 eg coupe has a d15z1 in it ok well once i get goin i feel a lil hesitation in her esp. when vtec kicks in it sputters then goes let me know if you can help thanks........

jus did an oil change on her......still hesitation and now its tickin or tappin :/

check all of the ignition/fuel components
start with fuel pump/dizzy

my 94 ls did this under heavier load of the pedal...try ur TPS mine was bad....unplugged it since i was selling the car to a buddy and it worked again up till he totaled the car lol

What ECU? And how can you tell when Vtec kicks in? My z1 showed no signs when going into vtec!

Relax brotato. I have the same motor VX hatch. Yes v-tec e is what the OP is looking for. Was reading as if the OP was looking for performance.

Ill start with sensor then fuel and spark and has a p28 ecu
