Hey..I just dropped in a 95 sohc vtec motor into my 93 dx hatchback....It won't start at all...When I turn the ignition its just nothing..I've got plenty of battery power..And I just swapped starters from my old motor and still the same thing..What else could it be? I'm still using the 93 dx ecu until I can get vtec wired in..Is this the problem?? I've checked all the grounds and everything..I even ran a hot wire from the battery straight to the starter and still get the same results...I also checked the fuses and they seem fine......One thing I did notice was that when I put the car in the ON position I don't hear the fuel primering at all..........Anyone?? Please help..

recheck ALL the fuses under the dash and under the hood, even those big ones.. make sure all the harnesses under the engine are connected there should be 3 on the passenger side, and i think 2 on the driverside both up by the strut thingys.. i would also try to use the d16z6 ecu even tho you dont have the vtec wires ran b/c the redline and rev-limit are different on that ecu.. ive also heard before that one some 92-95 models the vtec wire was ran all the way to the ecu even tho the car was not getting a vtec engine from the factory..

all it is .. put a ground wire fromt he tranny to the frame.. waaa laa.. trust me i been there.. the sohc vtec needs that wire
