Default 93 del sol. problems w\ crank pulley

Just curious wat would cause a crank pulley on a d15 to keep "spinning" crabk pullies. I'm not sure if that's the corect term so ill explain. A few months ago I sped to an out of town hardcore show at an average speed of 85-90 mph. I arrived just in time with the battery light on. I assumed the belt was loose but noticed the powersteering was notchy as well. Before I left show, I tightened. The belts down on the alternator and headed home. I made it more tha 3/4 of the way home and the car died. I noticed while tring to fix it andafter towing it home, the crank pulley stripped out the inner hole whre the notch and teeth are for the key that holds it in position on the crank. I purchased a new oem crank pulley and new key for the crank and she's been great the past two months. I baby my vehicles when necessary and demand performance and immediate response when needed. This morning I was racing to a wreck my mother was in, where she was clipped from behind totalling her 2000 4dr ek( I'm very sincere that my family. Drives either hondas or s chassis so everyone is covered when it comes to repairs) once again the averag speed was 80-90 mph. I go to the accident before the ambulance arrived got evrything taken care of and my mother offto the hospital. As I got in the del sol to head to the hospital, once again the battery light was on and the power steering was minimal. On our way to the hospital I kept hearing an odd noise. My guess was the crank pulley spinning. My concern is wat would cause this to keep happening. Apologies for the novelas its my first post but any opinions or suggestions are appreciated

Is your crank stripped?

the pulley key way could be damaged, if the bolt isnt tight on the crank it can cause a little play and cause the key to fail.A failed pump/accessory could be adding undo load on the pulley and cause the key to fail
