93 del sol d16z6 swap to d16y8 throttle cable?
Ill make this quick, I have a 93 del sol 5-speed which came with the Z6. The motor went and I was able to get a Y8 barely any cost to me. Ive swapped the Y8 into my del sol and ran across a problem with the throttle cable, its too long. I used the entire Y8 motor, tranny, intake manifold, nothing from my Z6 motor. Ive read several forums on how to do the swap and I got most of the recommended OBD1 to OBD2 conversion harnesses for distributor, alternator, etc. I havent had a problem yet with anything else, except the throttle cable. If anyone else has run into this problem before and found a solution, it would be greatly appreciated, and if im just not getting something right let me know. Thanks!

If I wasnt clear about which throttle cable, its the del sol throttle cable, its too long, it almost seems like where the throttle body on the Y8 sits closer to the driver side than the origional del sol throttle body.
