Default 93 cx iacv work on d16z6?

will a 93 cx iacv work on a d16z6? because it seems like my z6 is damged and i was told to get a new one, does anyone know if this will work on my z6?

or would a d15b7 non-vect iacv work on a d16z6? i just need some clarification so that i can go on and buy them because i dont' wanan waste my money if it doesn't work

i tried the cx one, but it seems like it didnt'w ork, but then i also heard u gotta tight the lil circle thing in the FITV which i haven't try yet, so i'll try that tomorrow, btw, can you clean the IACV with brake cleaner? or it has to be carb cleaner?

as far as I know, for the manual transmission honda motors there are only two kinds of IACV's... long and short.

they work the same... on bolt reaches out farther. thats the only difference... skunk2 manifold owners know this because you can use either or. it has 3 holes... the one to the left is used with the long one and the short one.. and one of the ones on the right are used depending on which IACV you have.. basically if the 2 you have are identical, you can use it.

yeah koo, my cx (the one look like the longer one but my plug is white) could there be a difference in the plug even though it does plug to the plug, btw it does bolt up onto my skunk2 i/m, btw, i cleaned my cx with brake cleaner and then i let it dry for like 10 mins which i should of done longer and i just installed it back on, should i take it off and do it again the right way and then mayb check my fitv and see if its loose

did you bleed your coolant there buddy and reset your ecu?

i haven't reset my ecu and i did have a radiator flush if that wuts ur talkkin about, put in new radiator fluid and yeah

i did bleed my radiator, its HELLA bubblie, how can i get rid of all the air? i did it for like an hour and its hella bubbles

remove radiator cap.
open bleeder valve near the head.
start car.
keep driping fluid in the radiator.
stop when air comes out of the bleeder valve(when it has a nice steady stream of water)
close bleeder and cap radiator.

bleeds the coolant removes all the trapped air which can make your idle bad because it goes through the IACV.

Am I the only one here with a HELMS??

not yet, once i replace my FITV and put back on my IACV (cuz i cleaned)then i'll bleed it again..hopefully thius will work, btw, i took off my fitv and tighten that white inner part, it was loose, could it been that too?
