93 CX hatch Brake lines stay on.
Only when i have my tailights and or headlights switch turned on, the brake lights will stay on. When i hit the brakes, the lights get slightly brighter.
When my tailights and headlights switch is off and i hit the brakes, my instrument cluster and front ambers turn on, as if i was turning the tailights on.
Also, when i turn the car off and remove the key, then put the key back in and turn the key on, my clock resets to 1:00.
Not sure what exactly to look for other than a loose connection or bad ground. Anywhere to look specifically?
Just replaced the brake light switch yesterday so that is not the issue.

youre going to have a short somewhere in your wiring, get yourself a manual and a couple beers and start tracking wires... as for your clock resetting, your back-up fuse in the underhood fusebox is probably blown, its a 7.5amp

Re: 93 CX hatch Brake lines stay on.
7.5 fuse was blown, fixed the clock.
The brake lights was acutally caused by the use of an incorrect bulb.
Recently had a tailight out, so i replaced it with a buld identical with the one i pulled out. Didnt notice it was a single filament bulb, when its meant to be a dual. I replaced it with the correct bulb and the problem is gone.
Thanks for the help.
