93 civic si main relay
i posted a previous topic about my car not starting after long driving and if i waited 5 mins it would. well now its hot out today and its not starting. it cranks but wont start. the check engine light is on and if i can catch it when it turns off itll start. someone suggested it was the main relay..problem is i dont have a wiring diagram. anybody know where it is exactly? thatd be a great help. thanks

The main relay is located just above your left foot on the sidewall when your sitting in the driver's seat. Before you buy a new main relay clean and retighten the bundle of wires screwed into the thermostat housing. This bundle of wires is the grounding point for the main relay and other things thru the ECU. If the ground is clean and you still have the problem than you can swap a good relay in to see if that works. If it does than you can possibly repair your main relay by opening it up and resoldering the connections. there's a good write up on this in FAQ's.

It's right near where you put your left foot. If it's original, it will be a grey box a little bigger than a D battery. It looks like this (though this is out of an Accord, so the part number and bracket will be different):
