93 civic low idle after ecu swap
Hey guys, I have 93 civic (manual) with an odb1 b18b1. I was running a chipped pr4, but the car I felt wasnt running as smooth as it should. So I bought a manual p75, and I'm having some problems with it. For starters the car won't turn on unless I press the gas a little while turning the key. The only thing is once the car turns on it idles extremely low. Basically right above zero like its about to stall out, but it doesn't. It does stall out though if I start it cold, and dont keep my foot on the gas for a while. The car runs great once Im actually driving, but when I stop at a red light it idles like its about to stall out. Also, with this ecu the check engine light is always on, but it wasnt before on my pr4. I haven't had the chance to pull the codes, but i dont know why it would be throwing a check engine light on this ecu and not other one? Any help would be appreciated to this honda newbie.
Also, I don't know if matters, but my pr4 when it first turns on idles around 1700 rpms. When it gets warmer it will drop to about 1100-1300, and then eventually get down to around 800.

Ok, well I pulled the code, and it was 14. That is the idle air control valve, but I wonder why it doesn't throw any codes with my chipped pr4? Does the low idling maybe have to do with me loosening the throttle cable because it was idling high before on my pr4? I don't have my car with me right now, so I can't check if that will fix it. Just wanting to see anyone can give me there opinion on it.
