How big of a pain in the *** would it be (or hopefully not be) to install an OEM gauge assembly with tachometer in my non-tach DX? I'll know I'll need to connect it to the igniter unit, but is the connection already there behind the dash on non-tach assemblies? Or would I need to run a wire (preferably BLU as called for in the manual) all the way down the harness and through the firewall?

Be sure to swap speedometers as well so you can retain your original mileage. It's just 4 screws on the back.

Oh wow! It really is as easy as I'd hoped for! That hardly ever happens lol
And yea, I definitely want to keep my speedo/odo... I like the look on peoples' faces when they see I've got 285K miles and my car is still running great.
