93 Civic coupe 5-speed - what are first "crucial" mods I should do?
Hey guys, just picked up a '93 Civic coupe 5 speed. Bad motor, but it looks good and will make a good project/commuter for school. I'm working on getting some better pictures and will post them up soon. I have a pretty decent mechanical background and work at a GM dealer here in Alaska. I'm building an all forged 6.0 gen 3 small block for my AWD standard cab short bed silverado, that will have a T76 front mount turbo kit, so the civic will be my DD while the motor install goes down on the truck.
Back to the civic, have a few motor options lined up for it. Looking at a D16Z6 right now, but wanted to get on here for some suggestions. So fire away boys, what are some of the first "crucial" mods I should do to this car? Forgot to mention its white, and I ordered some JDM tails, amber turns, and mirrors for it already, but what should I do next? Besides get a running engine in it haha. Anyway, looking forward to logging numerous hours on this board.
