ok a friend of mine just bought a vx shell is currently swapping in a B16A2 with a (9/3) B16 head. now i know the B16A2 is a 99/00 si motor and according to the stamping on the head its from a 94 b16A3 del sol head. he is goin to be running a USDM P30 ecu. now my question is this does it seem possible to be able to refferee the car as a 94-95 obd1 B16?

my main reason for asking this is that he seems to be runnig obd1 and obd2b parts? would he be able to use the usdm p30?

you pretty much have a B16 thats all you need to know. the car is obd1 the computer is obd1 that is it. the interchanging of engine components doesnt change anything as far as it being obd1 obd2. good luck
