92 hb vibration when turning
ok so heres the problem when im turning right slightly 30+ mph like on a freeway shoulder im getting major vibration and allmost feels like the wheel is skipping a bit. it doesnt do this at low speeds or its not bad enough to notice going slow. my civic does have a f22 in it and im using an accord half shaft w/ 94 integra axle but it doesnt pop out and it fits just fine. im not getting the vibration when im turning left im guessing cuz all the weight is now on the right side which leads me to belive that the problem exists in the left front. i went and bought the lower ball joint, inner and outer tie-rod tonight and im going to install them tomorrow. they needed to be replace anyway but if this doesnt help some other ideas from you would be much appretiated

Re: 92 hb vibration when turning
jack up the front of your car and try to move the wheels back and forth. not spin, but see if they have play in them somewhere. if theres play, and the play follows the tie rods then on into your steering rack, your rack may have an issue.
also, your bearings maybe.

Re: 92 hb vibration when turning
there isnt any play in with the wheel. i just relized im using an auto half shaft....maybe thats got something to do with it. reading up on an auto to manual conversion for accords and you need a manual half shaft.
