All 92 model year civics came wired for all motor accessories, including VTEC solenoid, VTEC pressure switch & 4-wire O2. I think it also might include power locks & windows too (could be wrong). After 92 Honda removed these wires to cut costs. Too bad really...

PS: You got to re-read your posts to fix your crazy diction... LOL

Well, I guess we can call you Mr. Run-On sentance. Punctuation would make your posts 1000 times easier to read.

Your wiring task will depend on the "year, origin (USDM or JDM), model & completeness" of your motor swap.

well, as far as having to "wire up vtec", you wont have to worry about that as long as you have the correct engine harness for the vtec motor and for the correct year that fits your car, your chassis harness already has vtec ready wires. i.e. b16 motor/ex(92-95)-gsr harness(94-95), that should be the right combo for what you are doing. Its been a while since i've had to deal with a vtec motor since i'm all motor LS for the last year or so now. Hope this helps and please dont give me a low grammar score lol

If your swap is an OBD1 (92-95) motor with an ECU that doesn't require a knock sensor,
AND...
you have the matching OBD1 USDM engine wiring harness for that motor,
THEN...

YES!

This a rare situation though since most swaps are JDM and B-series ECUs need a knock sensor. This situation will require making your own engine harness from your stock one, or buying the correct USDM one separatly.

If your motor is OBD2 USDM or JDM and you want plug-N-play, you will have to use a USDM OBD2 (96-00) engine harness from a B18C VTEC Integra. The motor should then plug & play leaving all the "OBD2" connections dangling. Then you use an OBD-1 ECU (with no knock sensor) that has been re-programed for that particular motor...

If you want to use an ECU that looks for a knock sensor, you will have to add a "sheilded" wire from the engine harness to the ECU. The sheilding must be properly grounded to the ECU's wiring harness as shown in the Honda/Helms manual. This isn't hard, but it is necissary to keep the ECU from getting false knock readings (which results in retarded ignition timing until your next "fill up" at the gas station)...
