i did a test on my alarm to see how easy it was to start while it was activated... let me tell you... if they can pop your hood and cut the siren.... starter kill doesnt do **** when you push start it.. or that starter kill switch it only disables the starter not the motor.. i am gonna do more to my alarm and im thinking of getting the vipar lojak with tracking as soon as it moves.. but its like 600 bucks but worth every penny

hey waz^ people well the car was recovered and it proved our suspicion of the car being towed not driving away because when the car stollen it had the auto-lock ON and when the car was recovered it was recovered with the auto-lock still in the car so all the kill switches in the world won't help you when the tow truck comes

cops in miami are getting better at finding stolen stuff though. about 2 months ago my cousins gsr got stolen and they found his motor in someone else's hb a month ago....hopefully you'll get lucky and they'll find your stuff.

hmmmm nah we know we are not getting anything back and yea basically the whole inteorior was taken except the dash, Rims were stolen, turbo kit also, intake manifold, distributor, greedy e-mage, front bumper, c/f hood so the car is basically a shell now we are rebuilding it

Lojack is great! I am a police officer and have the LoJack receivers in my police car. I have recovered 8 cars with it in the past 2 years. One was recovered while the original officer taking the report was on the scene. Before the officer was done taking a statement from the victim, I called him and told him where his car was, and how he could come and claim it! That was less than 20 minutes after being stolen! What happened was I was driving down the road past a grocery store, and got a LoJack activation. I followed the signal with the tracker in my car and drove right up to the car. I sat there and waited and some dude was coming from the store with a 12-pack of beer under his arm. When he started to climb in, I jumped him hard. Turns out he had priors for car theft, and was headed back to the pen for a nice long time... LoJack 1, Bad Guys 0.
And LoJack guarantees that if your car isnt recovered within the first 24 hours (I believe), they refund the total price of the system to you. Also, you can get breaks on your insurance if you have it installed.
I dont work for LoJack, but I believe in it, along with other anti-theft measures.
