92 cdplayer in a 98???
my friend has a 92 civic and got an aftermarket cdplayer for his car and is gonna give me his stock cdplayer. i like them better than my aftermarket one. i think it looks cleaner. anyway, will it fit right up with my wiring harness or will i need to make modifications to make it fit. if it will work its going in today. if not then its going in today anyway. thanks. i just wanna know what to expect.
EDIT::didnt even know we had an audio section. delete this if needed tom. i posted this in the audio forum. peace.

Re: 92 cdplayer in a 98??? (98civichtchback)
Yeah, it will plug up, but the 92-95's are more round on the edges and it may not be a perfect fit.
Also, the 98 bolts in from the sides and the 92 has 2 little bolts that hold it in place in the back.
So it may come flying out of the dash when you dump it hard.
Much like my 99 si cd player does in my 94 civic.
(i had to modifiy wiring for mine though)
