92-95 eg coupe aerogear hood install.
anyone else install the predator hood on there eg. i know it needs to be notched on the strut towers cause i had to do the same on my da, but even with the notch the hood is still sitting high any ideas on the problem

its got tanabe pro series in there. no strut bar and the hood is aerogear. there quality is amazing but even on the da's they tell you that you need to notch the hood why they dont do this from the factory who knows little ghetto on there part

Yeah no kidding, some people in manufacturing have their heads way up their asses. How many people want to spend the money on a hood or any other part and have to do mods to the parts with regular tools you have at home? Hopefully someone on here has that hood and can chime in. GL

well my buddy and i have have a shop and we got all teh tools for it but we even spent all day yesterday ******* with that hood not trying to notch it and get around that but wtf. $500 hood and you gotta go cutting **** so now i need to put fiberglass in the notch to make it look like it goes like that. ******* bodykits are a headache. and also if u know anyone that needs da parts can u let me know i have a 91 teg that afortunatly i totaled the other day. i got tons of parts ill list later if u know anybody. thanks

I know most people are against this, but have you tried "cowling" the hood with longer bolts and washers? Its the only thing i could think of that might work so if you ever want to sell the hood you have it untouched so to speak
