92-95 Civic Sunroof Cables?
I have a 93 Civic Si and the sunroof is screwed up... Is there a way you can adjust the cables on it? I took the glass off and the two slider things that hold the glass arent lined up??? One side is like 2 inches off from the other. The cable on the passenger side is off a couple teeth or something on the motor?? Are the cables adjustable? Im going to take the headliner off tomorrow but would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and how you fixed it...
Thanks.
Thanks.

Ok.. If anyone has this problem,I fixed it temporarily. I opened the sunroof all the way open and hand cranked the sunroof motor more open till the drivers side slider thing matched up with the passengers side. You gotta force it. I have to replace the gear that moves the cables opened and closed. I think it is stripped or something.

i have the same exact problem.. wasn't able to fix it, so just bolted in one side and used zip ties for the other side (until i get round to fixing it). Update this if you find the problem.. I figure its probably the sunroof cable. thanks

Not sure if you fixed yours, but i figured out the problem with mine.. Finally. Turns out, somehow, the screws holding the sunroof motor came loose to the point where the gear wasn't in contact with the cable. So i pulled the headliner and motor, re-adjusted the cables so they were even and replaced the motor.. hope this helps
