Icon2 92-95 civic coupe door lock question

It has probably been almost a year and a half since I converted my Dx to all power windows and locks. The windows roll up and down smoothly and the doors unlock but there's one problem... When I hit the door lock switch it only unlocks the doors but doesn't lock them (If I press up or down on the switch, it just unlocks the doors) Does anyone know why it's like this? I'm thinking that it may be a bad door lock actuator or the door lock module? If anyone has any knowledge of this please let me know

DO they lock when you hold the interior release handle and press the lock button?

I suspect a crossed wire somewhere. Get out the multimeter and the wiring diagram!

So...you're trying to tell us that after the power option parts were installed, the functions weren't correct and you never bothered to fix them until now?

Give us more info. Stock actuators or aftermarket? Actuators are usually wired with two relays so that both wires rest at ground and then one or the other gets a + positive pulse to lock or unlock. You probably wired it so that the same wire gets a positive pulse with both lock and unlock.

I just did door locks on my DX so I can draw up a little schematic if you want and explain how it should be wired

Try opening the door, holding the handle "open", and then try. And report back.

I tried that but it still won't lock just unlocks.

Yes pretty much. I am able to do everything accept lock the doors using the switch. So pretty much I just UNLOCK my doors but I'd have to manually LOCK them.

These are stock actuators that I ripped off a 95 ex I believe. If that's the case I have some 94 integra door lock actuators that I can try out to troubleshoot but I might have to test out the wiring with a multimeter before I do.

That would be nice.

THANKS! I think you may be right. I have a multimeter lying around but what exactly am I looking for? Can you give me some direction as to where I have to begin?

Update! So I removed the panel to just check out the wiring to see if everything is okay. I noticed that one wire that's blue/white was clipped. So I connected that back up and I got a different outcome. Turns out that when I use the switch now it LOCKS IT! YAY! but then it unlocks it right after. What can it be now?
