is there a way to put a center console into a 92-95 civic ? the stick commin out of the floor just looks kinda gay. does one from another honda fit?

just sold my prelude and i came across a good deal on a 94 civic ex with low miles.

What do you mean center console??? the civic came with a console that ran from the cupholders to the rear of the E-brake. You can buy an Audio console, it goes in the space between the shifter and the dashboard... it eliminates the cupholders i believe... but you could put your cd player down there, and some gauges if you like

There's three parts to the civic "console."

The one actually called center console is the ashtray/lighter thing right underneath the dash. The shifter console, which I think you're talking about, has cupholders in the front which pop up, and the shift boot. The last is the e-brake console, which is either just an e-brake cover and a rear ashtray, or an armrest.

Search eBay for 95 civic console and figure out what you need. I look on it about 3 times a week since I'm looking to get some that are in a bit better condition...

you can call your local honda dealer and ask them for the Optional Audio Console. its in there accessory listings. runs bout 132 from honda.

The RSX-S console fits too, but you have to fab a little bracket to make it sit flush .
