no. - not all the same (different sized brakes means different MS and prop valve)

no. - the SI's prop valve is setup for the rear disks like the other source for a 4040 you mentioned.

if you are looking for the 4040 prop valve, you can find them in 90-93 integras and 94-95 integra ls (non abs).

not sure if the si came with abs, i believe so though. if so, you can use it due to where the lines bolt. up.

Yes, 4 wheel disc brakes w/ABS was optional on the Si, EX, LX models.

You can get a 4040 prop valve off of DC/DB Integras (94-01).

If you also want the MC and BB for your swap,
You want to find ones w/o ABS (i.e. Integra RS), as the ABS ones will not work in factory front disc/rear drum equipped cars, regardless of rear disc swap.

Good luck

Edit: Corrected

Yes, the Si hatchbacks came with 4 wheel disc brakes w/ABS.

92-95 Civics equipped with ABS comes with 4040 propotional valves.
- EX-S (coupe/sedan)
- Si (hatchback)

You can get a 4040 prop valve off of Civics listed above or DC Integras (94-01).

If you also want the MC and BB for your swap,
You want to find ones w/o ABS (i.e. Integra RS), as the ABS ones will not work in factory front disc/rear drum equipped cars, regardless of rear disc swap.

good god almighty, do not listen to this guy. his information is wrong!
yes 92-95 civic ex/si might have came with abs, but you can not used them whether they have a 4040 valve or not. the 4040 valve they use is the same as the integra abs.

being that your car is not abs, your brakes lines are ran different as well as the valve being a different shape. you cannot, and i REPEAT: YOU CAN NOT USE 94-01 INTEGRA PROP VALVE!

when listing a integra, it must be specified. the only valve that can be used is a 90-93 (DA) integra or 94-95 (DC) integra ls, they cam with disc brakes, no abs.

as for M/C and booster, you can use a integra 1", but due to the way the lines bolt up and one port being 10mm and the other 12mm, you will need to have custom lines made up. the next upgrade will be that off of a 91 civic ex. it will bolt straight to your booster and lines. M/C is 15/16".

yes, i'm sorry the ls does come with abs, it is the rs model, 94-95.

as for civics, there are none that you can use. civics came with the 3030 valve, that is the one you currently have, other than the 3030 valve, there is the abs valve. the other honda models i mention would be the one with the 4040 valve, that's it.

Whoa whoa, slow down.
You can use 94-01 Integra DC/DB that was NOT equipped with ABS, as I mentioned earlier, the RS model is one example.
Not all Integras come with 4040, just make sure you check the stamp.

I do appologize for the misinformation, I was confused with E-brake cables.
Civics w/ABS use different system as philosofy1 mentioned.

3030 works fine in the street.
Although 4040 is not a MUST, it's strongly recommended w/ rear disc swap.
It's the track where it matters as there is a chance of the rear brakes locking up first.

yes the rs is the only one out of the DC/DB integras, being that they are a non abs setup.

i have found that DA integras seems to have more of the 4040 valve than any other honda.

Actually now that I think about it, I'm not sure if there's a difference in propotional vavles either ABS or NOT, I thought it was just the MC and BB that was not interchangable from ABS to non-ABS.
I'm not 100% on this as I would like to get some more info also. Any links worth reading reagarding this topic?
I just go an Integra prop valve today claimed 4040 by seller, but clearly stamped 3040. Just a heads up.

yes there are 30/40 valves. i have one on my 89 accord. yes, there is a difference in the valve, the 4040 valve allows more fluid to flow to the rear vs. the 3030 valve.

and yes you can use a abs M/C and B/B, but lines will have to made up.
one side of the M/C is 12mm (rear) and the other is 10mm (front).

i am currently using a 1" M/C and booster off of a gsr. i had to have steel braided lines made to use this application. now if you can get a hold of a jdm itr, all that is need is to rebend one hardline to make it work.

here is a diy link that i have saved:

Both, 90-93 Integra RS and 94-01 Integra RS come with 4040.
I believe 99-00 Civic Si, 96-00 Civic DX come with 4040 also.
There are a couple more I can't remember top of my head.
