Default 88-91 and 92-95 struts

Just so everyone knows, and after a lot of misinformation, the rear struts on a 88-91 civic do no fit, correctly, to a 92-95. The rear fork/bracket that goes over the lower control arm is skinnier on an 88-91 than on a 92-95

You need the right LCA's to fit them. The LCA's bolt right in as far as I know

i don't know right now, i am so confused at this point.. and frustrated. After a crap ton of searching it looked like they were basically the same deal, then my struts came in and the bracket is a lot narrower. SO i look around some more and my struts resemble 96-00 more than anything... and what they sent me didn't match what was pictured.... Anyways, i dunno, my car has been sitting for a week now, on top of months, and this is the last thing i need to complete before its done, and i like don't even care at this point. I contacted the re-seller and i'm going to wait and see what they have to say. Right now though, i'm just thinking about shaving a little bit off the bracket.. like tiny amount, and then shaving the bushing down so they fit. its like a 1/4" to narrow, so its not a large difference, but it wouldn't fit normally, and the spring perch is a little different to, resembles the 96-00 more... this is stupid....

yeah.... so at this point, i think i was sent the wrong struts... After going back over everything i found, (and as it turns out, i always have better luck looking through google images, than the actual web search??) the forks aren't as narrow as what i have... i was given 96-00....
