If memory serves correct, I know it will physically bolt and hang just fine, but I believe the tip will be a little shorter on the coupe then on the gsr. I dont think the tip makes it all the way to the back of the bumper. Have him measure, and you can measure for a definitive awnser. Can easily alter the tip if needed.

For $60, I would buy it and make it work. Hang it the way you want, and a muffler shop can make it work with the mid pipe, or anywhere that need some "adjustment."

Sorry to go off topic but what would a good quality midpipe cost from the exhaust shop? Any of you have experience with custom piping?

Every shop is different, but here are my experiences. Unless one comes in for a complete custom dual exhaust system for $800-$1,000, the best guy (or owner) is not going to be working on it.
So you most likely have to spoon feed it to them, this less skilled guy.
If you have the original WS2 cat back pipe, tell them exactly where you want them to cut and paste.
Don't ever say "make it fit." They will do exactly that....
If you don't, I would buy a cheap test pipe, mid-pipe, etc, (that would bolt on) and draw exactly where you want cut.
Because there is no $$$$ in this work, they will grab whatever pipe, hinge, etc that work.
BTW, I'm in similar situation. The car I bought has a Megan test pipe. I want a cat. I rather have them cut up the Megan, then to make me a new pipe. This way I know everything will line up, bolt up, just like before.
