my air compressor broke and i found 2 used craftsman for sale. they're both the same price but one is 60 gal and one is 30 gal. is 60 gal going overboard? how much longer would it take to get the air in the 60 gal tank compared to the 30 gal?


30 gal=8.6 scfm @40 psi, 6.4 scfm @ 90 psi
60 gal=12.4 scfm @40 psi, 10.2 scfm @ 90 psi

well first this is the wrong forum, second no it is not over kill if you plan on doing some painting with it. if there is no painting in its future get the one that you like the best.

i have a 30 gallon craftsman, and it works great, if you dont have a lot of room you prob dont want to get the 60 gal, plus it heavy, and the 30 gallon should have wheels to roll it on, at least mine does

yeah, it's for home use. i'm leaning towards the 30 gal since the 60 gal is huge for home use.

the 60 gal is very big, i sell them things, if ur gonna use it at home, then i shoot for the 30, it just as good
