5th gen hatch BOGGS after driving for about 1/2 hour.
It was originally a Cx, then i had a single cam vtec put in,
the original pipes are still on the car.
Seems liek after the car warms up, it bogs at low RPM's. This is especially noticable when starting out, or even cruizing in 5th. Any ideas?

what mods? how fast are you going, any specific rpm?
and when it "bogs", you going up hill or on a flat? lol
Any codes?

I have the same problem in my car. 94 cx with 94 b18b. stock cx fuel pump, but the motor only has bolt ons, stock ecu. Especially in 3rd gear between 1500-3500 rpms, if i give steady throttle for more than 5 seconds it wants to stall. 1st gear in parking lots, or when letting out the clutch, stutters and jerks around alot.I think I'm running really lean, since I put new exhaust on a month ago, and my exhaust tip has absolutely no black inside of it. I've been getting worse gas mileage than usual lately also. . .
I'm gonna check my fuel pressure, and do a compression and leakdown test just to see how the motor is doing soon.

A good rule of thumb when doing a swap is "Always install a fuel pump from the car you're taking the engine from, or an aftermarket unit that excedes the unit from the car you're taking the engine from."
If you don't, you run certain risks like the above mentioned.

uhm no mods besides the swap, even stock suspension.
i believe the dude replaced the fuel pump too.
it did not do this immediatly after the swap, but instead like about a month after.
seems liek it is fine for like 10-30 minutes, then once you get on it, it wants to bog on flat, uphill, everywhere.

Single cam motors and dohc non-vtec have fuel pumps that flow similar if not the same #'s. I'm not certain off the top of my head.
I was running with straight pipe and resonator dumping under middle of the car. Then I was running straight pipe with no muffler and I would shoot flames in between shifts. Now that I have a muffler, it *SEEMS* to be leaner. I don't have an a/f gauge and haven't had a chance for dyno time however.
