(56k die)So after blowing my clutch I've decided to completely redo the entire car...(Pics) ((Work i
So after blowing my clutch I've decided to completely redo the entire car. It started with me just deciding to purchase a new clutch, then going ahead and changing my axels, and so on, and so on, and so on.
So I purchased all new brakes(rotors, pads, lines), new rims/tires (sold my Rota c8's and am currently rocking some cheap 17" C5 knock offs), tanabe hyper medallion, skunk2 mani, spoon duckbill, spoon mirrors, paint for the engine bay, momo steering wheel, optional audio console, ect... cant think of it to list, Gambit keeps on insisting Ive spend over 2 grand in the past 2 weeks I say its more around 1800. All Im waiting on now is time around the shop to finish the masking of the front end so I can go ahead and spray it and put it all back together.
Our shop specialized in handicapped mobility options. So if u see pics of wheel chairs in the background you know why. We just build race cars on the side...
The car before the clutch went.
The car beginning its journey.
The front end off.
Geeky_Gambit labeling stuff so we remember what they are...(haha aaron)
Motor out.
Engine bay getting stripped for paint.
Car being used for storage..and ready for new steery wheely.
Me in front of our new shop truck.
Our trailer/tow truck/service vehicle.
Another waste of space honda in our shop.(my cbr 600)
Another race car(guess what it is)
And aarons (Geeky_Gambits) car in front of the shop.(HID SHOT)
Will add final pics to the appearance section when its all done...thanks for looking and wish me luck with my project guys...

Its a chevy 4500 with a monroe body ($55k) 6.something liter turbo diseal. The rover and the f150 are a little small to be pulling our little handicap trailer around.
This is next to our f150
The car is a chevy vega..well whats left of it...it was a fully built all motor super gas drag car. Now its going for big block blown outlaw class, with hopefully a full carbon fiber body.
Check out the old cage work.

Nice hatch. If i had a shop i could use i would always be doing things to my hatch. Question....i see the car is red and so is the engine bay, are you gonna repaint the engine bay red or painting the whole car a different color and just starting with the engine bay?

Re: (94_HATCH)
Im moving alot of the wires and respraying the engine bay milano red. Then I will have the exterior professionally done milano red. This is all a new learning experience for me. And yes having a shop helps out so much.

Re: (-[sphEre]-)
Which ones...the ones in the first pic- are bronze rota c8's (16's) the ones my car is being pushed around the shop in are 17" c5 knock offs (fuggly *** rims), the ones sitting in the car are my new Rota Auto X's..(SSR type X's) Once the car is done it will be shot and placed in the appearance section.
