5 lug conversion on EK: brackets that screw onto the knuckle for the brake lines?
I was browsing the archived forums and found the following a comment that tonyxcom made in a post regarding brake lines on an EK for a 5 lug conversion:
"I'll add too.
Get Civic SI brake lines. It will have an extra bracket on the cable with nowhere to bolt it. I just tiewrap it to my shock.
OR, you can get the brackets that screw onto the knuckle and do it the OEM way."
Here is a link to the post: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=324301
I'm going to do the 5 lug conversion on my '97 Civic EX, and I would like to get the brackets that screw onto the knuckle so I can do it the "OEM way," but I don't know what exact part he is talking about. Here's the link to the knuckle asssembly for a '00 Civic Si:

Can someone point out the part number which he is talking about because I plan to place an order on that website soon?

Please keep it in this thread. I'd like to know, too, since i'll be doing a 5-lug conversion in the near future, as well. Thanks.

Actually, I e-mailed tonyxcom about his post and this is what he said:
"I was actually confused when I made that post. the 'missing' bracket is actually on the shock. some have them, some don't. Most aftermarket shocks actually dont have them, so the tie wrap is common practice.
There are two holes on the front side of the knuckle, where the other bracket on the brake line can still bolt to."
So it looks like there's nothing to worry about
