4x114.3 mafia..what you guys do about abs?
I asked this in the teg forum, but many of you guys run this too, so your help is much appreciated. My friend just stated something that hit me about my previous accident which occured bc my wheels locked up. A few months before my accident I did the 96-97 4x114 conversion, and the idiot I am , failed to realize that I did not have a connector for my ABS plug. As a result, i shrugged it off Im starting to hate my stupidity at this point. I tried searching, but some people either did or did not have the connectors, is there anything that can be done to run ABS with this setup?

Which Integras? I have a 4x114.3 off of the 96 ITR (which is the only Integra with that lug pattern) and there is no ABS anywhere to be found.
Sorry I can't help the original poster. I never had ABS to begin with.

here is the deal with abs.... short of the abs in an itr, all the civic and all the integra abs just friggin sucks. they are junk systems, only helping a total retard stop faster. when it comes to performance, they suck even more. not worth saving whatsoever. just my two cents.

Yeah, the earlier JDM IT-R. Also, older Accords and Preludes out here, right?

mines from a 96 R as well, so the 97 came with ABS? Im still unsure about how I would be able to pull the old connector from a spindle with ABS and modify it to work with my current spindles.. any ideas?

I'm sorry, but what car do you have the 96 R setup on?
Also, I'm lost on what you're trying to ask here. You're asking how you can pull the old connector (of an ABS setup) from a spindle w/ABS? Well, there are CV axles where they have teeth (depending for ABS or not) just before the spindles that the ABS sensors read off. Those ABS sensors are located on the knuckles. You could probably unbolt that sensor and if your knuckles right now have that spot to allow the ABS sensors to be bolted on, then you can do that.
Otherwise, I'm not getting what you're asking. Sorry.

sorry this is all on a 94 Ls, yea Im basically just looking for a way/method or being able to run my ABS again. My plug is currently ziptied to my LCA, bc the 4x114 for my rear did not come with it.

Re: (Deluzional)
My input is that abs is for pussies. (Also check my sig for other things that are for pussies)
But hey, if you think you need it then I would say switch your old hubs onto the new setup.

only reason, ive even considered reconnecting my ABS, is bc my accident last Novem could have been prevented if my wheels had not locked.
