is a 4-door EK less desirable compare to a HB or coupe?
i was looking at the "Best looking EK" thread and found out almost NO ONE has an EK sedan. Is it because they are much heavier or just that the HB and coupe look better?

It all comes down to personal taste. IMO the coupes are the best looking Civics. I am not a big fan of the hatchback Civic and sedans just dont seem to have as sleek of lines as the coupe. Like I said this is only my opinion. The hatchback is the lightest out of all of the Civics so that is one big reason many choose the hatch over any other form.
Either way pick whatever kind suits your needs/wants the best and dont be influenced by what others think.

yes its all about preference and your needs. if you always have people in your car, or have a baby, a 4 door is the way to go, and i have seen some nicely done clean sedans. almost any car can be made to look nice, its all about ur needs. and yes the hatches are lighter in weight, but usually at the expense of amenities such as power windows, locks, sunroof, power steering, a/c, some people stripping the inside. i mean yes a couple hundred lbs make a difference. however if your not gonna be on the track then the extra weight is ok. i like my creature comforts just my opinion though.

yeh it's a personal taste thing, alot of people do go with hatch's because of their weight,, i have an eg and its grown on me alot, i just think theyre clean, it all comes down to what you want. just remember your buying the car and will be drivin it, not everyone else.

I've got a 99_civic EK sedan and wouldn't trade it for a hatch or coupe. I love the way the sedans look. But thats just me. My car should be on that EK thread

It is also sedan. I've kept up with a 2005 rsx type s had all the way up to about 95 and then he finally pulled me. He had his gf in the car. She proabaly wished she was in my back seat
