Re: 4-2-1 vs 4-1 (burnout5175)
4-2-1 in a standard primary design will usually favor low to midrange power. a 4-1 standard primary design will usually favor highend power. if you go with a 4-2-1 with stepped primaries, it seems to be in the middle of the both and i like my comptech headers better than previous jdm itr.

which header are you running, i've had 2 different 4-1's and they both sit really close to the ground.

its just a cheap ssautochrome one..i know people dont like them but ive had mine over 2 years (at the time i didnt have alot for a $300 one lol) but hey i havent gotten any cracks, etc..granted i have hit the bottom of it before but thts when my car was really low..now its only lowered not quite 2 inches and i have no clearance issues at all
My friend wit the 4-2-1 is a DNX or something like that..its sits REALLY low..you can see it hanging if you just look directly at his car

Re: 4-2-1 vs 4-1 (00CivicGirl)
i used to have a DC Sports 4-1, and i always smacked that thing on everything. My friend has a Comptech 4-2-1, an he doesnt have near as many issues as i did, and he is at least as low as my car. After seeing the difference between our two on the dyno, id go w/a decent 4-2-1. But then again i was running a DC, which just doesnt compare to the Comptech anyway.
