350z crash kills 2 (someone i knew,pic inside)
i know its not a civic but i just wanted to share it with everyone who races or drives aggressive, since it was a wake up call for myself to drive more carefully.
i came home from my gf's house the other night, to see this happen to someone i knew thru my friends brother and used to see him at friday night races.
i came upon this scene on the way i take home every day and night to find my friends crying and telling me this kid and his gf just died,(they were good friends)...supposedly from witnesses he was racing in the right hand lane and hit a major dip (that i always stay clear of) and had alot of rear wheel hop as the car reacted to it. lost control of the car and hit this pole which was about a little less that a 1/8th mile from the dip he lost control at.
as my friends witnessed this, they ran over and opened the passenger side door to see a horrible sight. the girlfriend was dead instantly with her legs mangled around the kids body, and the drivers door just disintigrated on impact and found the kid leaning against the telephone pole looking like his neck was broke.
it was said they were going 65, but to me that seems kind of slow for that much destruction.
sad to say they both died, he was 24 she was 19. drive safe
all i could imagine was how can a brand new car fold up like this, youd think it would be safer? imagine what would happen to a hatch.

pretty crazy right. i didnt really know him well, more like a familiar face youd see once or twice everyweek..he only got the car 3 weeks ago, i remember him talking about how he was learning how to drive stick the night he picked it up from the dealer. i feel more bad for the girl and her family.

Also depends on how the car "hit" the pole. If the vehicle was in the middle of a fast spin plus the speed, bad things happen.
Its always sad to see people lose their lifes at such a young age...but dammit quit racing on the streets. The trail of destruction is larger than just these kids dying.

thats straight up crazy!! wake up call to everyone, i sure have had close calls and we dont think of what could happen last minute until we see what happens to others, drive safe people!!

I am sorry to hear that my prays go out the the family,I have to say racing is stupid but there isnt much tracks around,But If i race i never keep my girlfriend in the car and i dont race on open streets ; abandoned roads,I am not saying its right to do this at all.

not try to take this lightly any loss is tragic
theres a reason they offer all forms of ametur racing event to keep **** like this off the street. It impossible for me to fell sorry for the driver becasause he made the decision to street race and knew the risk associated with it. The only one I feel sorry for is the girl becasue she was just a pawn in the mess but atleast they were both blessed with a quick death. dont get all hateful toward me if a family member or close friend of mine did the same thing i would not feel sorry for them. you live and learn from urs and others experience or u end up dying. please let this be a learning experience to all. if u do race do it by ourself only if u have no kids because u are taking a risk please dont take anyone with u
