Default 3 CEL's on an EJ8

Driving home earlier and I look down at my tach to gear up and I realize my speedometer is flying around. shooting up all over the place, but only during acceleration.
My engine is running perfectly fine, not jerking around or reduced fuel economy. Just these three codes. Which popped up at the same time as the Crazy speedometer needle.
P1298
P0135
P0141

I'm pretty sure the last two are caused by the first code.
Also here is freeze frame data as well. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here is your Newcastle

Your fine man, I will say though that users on this Honda site tend to be more cynical and capricious.

Sometimes I just want to reply with Rage faces alot like your avatar.

Seems like the order of operations on figuring this out is to erase the codes and then if P1298 pops again then replace the ELD, which I cant seem to find any.

Thanks for the suggestion Ron, Im guessing I would need to take it into a Honda dealer for that? What would I expect to pay? Also thanx for deleteing the other thread.

DOes anyone know the part number for the ELD as well?

Did you check fuse 15?

The TSB tells you where to look for damaged wires. When you do, wrap them in electrical tape and then cover the entire wire bundle in corrugated tubing. It's a job you can do yourself.

It's rare for the ELD to go bad, so I wouldn't spend any time there.

Fuse 15 (7.5 A) was blown.

Ill throw it up on jack stands first thing tomorrow and take car of it.

Define corrugated tubing? sounds like paper towel tubing.

As for the ELD I want to replace it anyway to cover my bases. Do you know the part number?

It's plastic tubing, just like what is shown in the TSB diagram. I found some at Harbor Freight Tools or an auto parts store for a couple of bucks.

Seriously. Stop wasting your time and money on the ELD - It's NOT the problem.

This is NOT AN EASY FIX LIKE YOU INDICATED.
The images in the diagram DO NOT MATCH WHAT I HAVE.
THERE ARE TWO LARGE CONNECTORS ONE BLUE, THE OTHER GREY THAT GO NO WHERE.
THEY DO NOT PLUG INTO ANYTHING, THE SIMPLY CLIP ONTO A SMALL PIECE OF METAL.
THE WIRES ALSO DO NOT APPEAR TO BE WORN OR CRACKED AT ALL. EXPLAIN THAT RON.

If it's "not that simple", why don't you start off with replacing the fuse, resetting your CEL, and seeing if it comes back? That would be the logical thing to do.
