27151(A) exhaust Ticket
Got pulled over the other night for a stupid 27151(A) and the officer checked not correctable. What does this mean? This happens to be my first ever ticket. Can i just throw on a stock exhaust and drive to the local chp and have someone sign it. I want to take care of this ASAP ive heard of late fees and crap like that. I live in socal to tell you the truth the car wasn't loud at all at the time he pulled me over just to give you an idea as it states in my ticket i was doing 35 in a 35 zone. I was in 5th GEAR!!!! not reving over 2500rpm i know it was super quite crusing cause i knew he was there. He was showing his rookie partner how to give a ticket. Anyways help me out HT i need to clear this ASAP

There should be a phone number on the ticket of the state ref in order to schedule an appointment ..so the officer did not mention anything about that??

go get it checked off by the CHP and then go and talk to a judge about it and you probably wont have to pay for it. Just explain to him what you did to us. It's well worth the try.

chp has been known to be ball busters, put the stock exhaust on the car and take the car where is needs to be looked at and say you do not know wtf he gave you a ticket for

Make an appointment to go see the state ref... he will check it out and test it.. he then will give you a paper if it passed or if it didnt then you take that paper to court and show it to the cop and the judge and if you passed you are free to go with the $10 court fee. So just do that.
