exactly what the topic says. I know only 250 mi on full tank! I am pretty shocked myself. Is this normal. How many mi. are you guys getting?
The one thing im happy about is that it only took me 11.25 to fill up at 1.55/ga.

btw, anyone know if the 96-98 full tanks are the same size as the 99-00s?

I get about 260 for 9gallons on my 98 hb with a b18b...but I remember I use to get 300 for city driving when I had a sohc..

I got a DX a do about 290 in it in the city 300 on the HWay from a Full Tank for a CX thats not normal it could be ur drivin

usually on the streets, i get at least 300 to my 99 civic dx. one time i drove all the way from monterey park to san francisco in 1 tank...i got 371 miles, and the gas light was on for a good 10 miles. i was scared...

actually highway driving.. heheh let's say close to 370 with my old sohc motor.. with the light on.. =P I can do about 320 though..with the dohc I drive like a grandma on the freeway =P

i must say it is my driving too. but my last full tank was completely high way driven. Altho i didnt drive until the gas light lite up. Also i might add that my 96 cx has a 98 lx motor if it makes a difference. And the lx motor has only 4000 mi believe it or not.

I have a 96 civic cx and I get to about 260 miles until my needle is below empty. Then I fill her up and she only takes about 8 gallons there's still 3.9 gallons to go. Almost makes me not want to swap ( I said almost)

Define normal...

I get 500 mi. minimum to a tank; sometimes as much as 560-580 before the 'light' comes on, and I consider myself fairly "normal." Maybe it's YOU that's normal - maybe it's me. Who knows?

On my hybrid I get around 330 highway on a full tank.

normal-is this the kind of mileage most get out of a hatch?
I might add i have no tach so there may be times when i over rev it but that 250 mi was all high way driven.

hrmmm i get about 220 w 10 gals in my 99 si....doesnt sound right....its winter...but in the summer i get maybe 250 260 with 10 gals

the CX/DX is not ment to be driven fast, you have to stay light on the pedal to get good gas milage. with a EX tranny, you don't have to press the predal as hard to get going, so its better for around town driving. the 4.2 fd in the EX is the downside for freeway driving though, that is where your CX/DX's 3.6 shines.

city best mpg = EX
freeway best mpg = CX/DX

In my 90 DX I have gotten over 350 out of one tank. That was straigh highway miles though.
