The 2000 Si weighs...the answer is?
I was out at Willow Springs this past weekend to watch some SCCA races and there was a 2000 Si entered in the show room stalk class. I spoke with the driver and the only thing he changed was brake pads and and after market cat back exhaust system. Thats all. Everything was in the car. Radio, spare tire and jack, all seats, stock wheels everything. He qaulified 2nd adn later won the race. At weigh in with approx 1/2 tank of gas...2,480...corner weighed by official of SCCA!

Re: The 2000 Si weighs...the answer is? (xlr8 si)
the si came in first...also the cars are weighed with just the car and what comes with it from the factory...no driver...last time i checked no new cars come with people in them.He also ran at the runoffs last year. For those of you who do not know what the runoffs are... National race. Everyone who's anyone goes to it. I have an Si and will corner weigh it. It's completely stock except for a HY Tech Header. I will keep you posted. Thanks

Hmm, my Si weighs about 2320lbs gutted with only a driver seat and less than a 1/4 tank of gas. 120lbs is quite a bit of difference than stock. Seems odd to me too

>>He cheated.<<
Of course he cheated! That's what SCCA Showroom Stock is all about. Those cars are far from "stock" as the general public would define the word. Not near as "bad" as NAS(S)CAR, but...
