your ECU decides when to kick in Vtec. everything has to be right for it to work.
regualr running temp on engine and coolant, right fuel pressure etc.

nice. but it is WAYYYYY to low.
and in a way it looks like a EG.
lol. WITH OUT LOOKING AT THE SIDES. JUST THE MIDDLE.
and i dont really care about JDM. just a phase that will pass. gotta make your car the way YOU like it if its "JDM" then cool. if not then cool.
but yea. take out 1 radiator and youll be hitting Vtec all day

dude the first Si is too low. 2nd one is nice!
NEVER seen a civic with 2 radiators so i have NO idea how they look or how they are set up but i guess that you:
drain coolant
remove the right radiators(if your looking at it from front or left if you on the drivers seat)(or which ever radiator you want)
remove all extra hoses. (i assume that a T fitting was used. if so, remove it and buy a new hose for the radiator.)
and just add coolant

dude thats not 2 radiators. thats one. the on to the left on the 1st pic IS the radiator. the one on the right is for the A/C.
lol. you only have one radiator. and a radiator works by flowing coolant through it. wind goes through the radiator when you driving, cooling the coolant. its a continuous flow of coolant which all goes back to cool the engine
EDIT: and radiators work the same on all cars. its purpose is to cool down the coolant that is circulating through the engine so that way it doesnt over heat

where is your connection for your water temp gauge? since i am assuming that is what you mean. cuz i think your talking about an after market gauge. unless you mean the stock engine temp gauge on your cluster

im thinking MAYBE your heater core might be messed up. if it is, that is gonna be a pain in the azz to replace doing it yourself since it requires the entire dash to be removed

BUT i can be wrong. if it is your heater core. you can D.I.Y and spend around $90 for everything(basically just the heater core and more coolant)
but if you take it to a shop expect to spend somewhere in the mid hundreds. around $400-$500. depending on the shop.
my girls heater core got messed up and her dad ended up saying $450!
