2000 si disc brakes question

2000 si disc brakes question
hey i have a friend that bought a wrecked 2000 Si and he said i can have the brakes off the car, im just wondering if i were to get both front and rears would i be able to convert my car to have ABS or no? i have a 95 dx coupe? also if not would it still work fine even tho the hubs would be abs equipped? i know theres tons of posts bout brake swaps but i havent seen info on that. thanx for any information in advance

Si's do not come with ABS, so the answer to your question is no, you cannot convert it to ABS. You would need a LOT more then just the brakes to do this also. Such as the computer, accumulator, lines, wiring, master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve, etc.

Absolutely positive that non of the US 99-00 Si's had ABS. I know for sure. Had a 99 myself and my friend owned two 00's. No abs. And you can't just add the brakes and be done with it. The entire system must be changed to accomodate the higher pressures and all the sensors.
