Default 2000 ex seat question

Ive been a member/lurker here for years. Ive had hondas over the years but mostly for daily duty. I been driving nissan sr20 powered sentras for 20 years now and i decided its time for a change because A. nissan trannys are weak and B. everything is triple the price of a honda.

Ok my question. I have a 2000 ex and my seats feel like they sit real high...doesnt help im 6 foot 3 i guess either, but my nissan i sat down in..this car i feel like i sit on the seat like a sofa or somthing...lol. Is there a remedy for this besided a racing seat? I have a very nice ex and dont want to change out to uncomfortable stuff..thats why my nissan is for sale lol. Is there brackets i can swap? Diffrent seats..id hate to do that mine are mint. Are other car options like EM1 seats? Any help is greatly appreciated. Im not new at this i did a search but came up with alot of threads that offered no help.

How about using S2000 seats, just change the seat pans from your civic to the s2000 seats and everyting will bolt up: there are two write-ups on this on h-t. you can goggle "s2000 seats in civic ek". I can't thing of others that would sit low besides the del sol seats but finding em mint is very hard.

Thank you..im not scared of upholstery work so even if i can find s2000 seats that are so so i can recover them. I thought of seeing if i can make the seat cushions thinner too. Am i the only one that thinks they sit high?

I don't think the OEM civic seats sit too high, but I swapped Integra GSR leather seats into my car, and used the original rails from my civic seats. The integra seats definitely sit higher than my OEM civic seats did, so don't consider integra seats if you want to sit lower

I stumbled onto this thread when searching for something else: https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...hlight=red+EM1

It is mentioned at the DC2 seats will sit 1.5-2" lower if you don't go the S2k seat route. As you are aware, I'm not an EK expert; but I believe the EX and SI rails are very similar if not identical in height.
