2000 EX Coupe Climate Control Unresponsive
Hello, H-T!
I've tried searching but can't find anyone else with this specific problem - I'll keep it short.
Just bought a 2000 EX coupe and previous owner said A/C worked until the climate control stopped working.
Buttons background light works but the green lights for different selections do not.
I can press the A/C button and the circulate button and even try to turn the fan on but nothing works.
Just the background lights come on, nothing else.
Previous owner said maybe it's a resister? Need help!

The control panel has a computer in it. Get a service manual and run the control panel self test.
There is more than one fuse feeding the system.
Swapping the engine is unlikely to have anything to do with it. The HVAC is also not going to throw any CEL.

May need to pull unit, check wiring harness connections and wires for breaks.
The climate control buttons solder joints on 5th gens are known to go bad as well. Not sure for 6th gens but, might be the issue: Pull unit and resolder: https://sites.google.com/site/hondal...irconditioning
