2000 civic Si. No spark
stock B16 with OBD1 conversion harness and Hondata S300v3.
Was driving along fine. went half throttle on 3rd and at about 5K rpm it dies. Car has no spark. NO CEL
Have fuel
have compression
tested ICM - good
tested coil - good
checked ALL fuses - good
checked timing belt - good (cam spins)
checked main relay - good
Checked all grounds - good
tried original ECU
OBD1 does not use the crank fluctuation sensor - I bypassed it anyways and still no spark
Is there a way to test the crank position sensor? I should have a cel if it was bad and I have NO CEL.
any ideas?
thanks

Re: 2000 civic Si. No spark
A ground could've came loose?
I'm not sure but there must be some capatability between Bseries crank sensors. Maybe you can find one to try out without buying one?
So when you say you checked the timing belt...does that mean you checked mechanical timing?

I did not look at timing. I just made sure belt was in place, in good condition, and spinning the engine in synch as expected. There is a specific pitch when your motor is out of timing or the belt is broken. All sounds in line.

Re: 2000 civic Si. No spark
PROBLEM SOLVED.
There was voltage at the dizzy. Both the coil and the ICM passed all the tests per the helms and also got the ICM tested at advance.
CEL does work. Turns on when i connect the car and goes of with main relay click sound.
I purchased a new dizzy from Napa (TD81u) and it cranked right up. Possibly the crank position sensor? Not sure. Bur its fixed.
Thanks to all for the replies.
