2000 Civic LX cluster swap
So I just picked up a 2000 civic lx 5 speed
Apparently whatever idiot at honda developed the damn thing decided that a tac isn't neccesary...which for me, I guess its really not. I don't like the look of an aftermarket tac; its big and tacky (no pun intended) and looks retarted unless your vin deisel.
What model/year clusters would work with mine, and not have any differentiation between the actualy readings?
I like the Si clusters...and I know the crx will fit.

Re: 2000 Civic LX cluster swap
96-00 civic EX/Si
EX ones are going to be cheaper than an Si one.
EDIT:Other clusters are able to fit with modification. But 96-00 will be drop-in basically.
and what do you mean a CRX cluster will fit?!

Re: 2000 Civic LX cluster swap
my buddy has a amber crv cluster (think its stock as amber)
very nice. he got it for 40 bucks.
Personally if I was going to swap my cluster out, the only cluster Id even consider would be a AP1. It's going to cost way more then 40 though, and you have to get the wiring kit.
