200 Dollar car eg restoration
Hello everyone please feel free to give me ideas of what to do. I bought this car the other day so far i can tell that the heater hose has a hole in it drove it 100 miles no coolant very nice. hehe. The car probably has a blown head gasket sounds like a turbo diesel helicopter. I am gonna start by replacing every interior piece and some body pieces that are missing. 200.00 and it drives and runs what a deal. Welcome to the 200.00 civic club hehe

200 is a deal. Since you seem to know where you're going as far as motor/tranny I'll share my thoughts on the rest of the car.
I would look at replacing bushings, brakes, shocks, then wheels and tires.
I'd probably scrub it down and go flat or semi gloss black for paint. Stock lights. Stripped interior. 2 nice seats ... maybe RSX seats....etc. simple but clean.

Found a d16 motor for 40.00. gonna pick it up next week this weekend i am going to replace the entire dash harness and put in a dash plush stock seats and stock tails for 150.00. That budget will be up too 390.00. Still looking for a transmission and gonna get on some dent fixing with a wood block. HEHE

thats awsome, I bought a 94 EG HB same color as yours, the guy said the motor was shot because white smoke was coming out the exhaust. Bought it for 200. New head gasket, valve cover gasket, cam seal, intake gasket and it runs awsome now. The only thing it needs is a drivers door as it was backed into, but I have one already. Good luck with your restoration.

Get a door handle. Haha. =P nice price on that d16 though. Is there anything wrong with it? Get stock sideskirts! And strap that bumper back up. =]
