2 questions... car shaking.. security system?
hey guys,
1)
i have a 94 del sol - manual.... i was on vacation for a couple months and i came back and drove my car finally and on the highway at speeds of 100-120 kmh .. the car starts to shake just a bit.. not too much but i still feel the difference from how smooth it was before... can anyone suggest anything?
2)
i just moved to detroit.. and car theft and damage is NUMBER 1 on the crime list.. i dont have a protected parking lot or anything and its just basically street parking... i'm a student and i have a very low budget? what are my possible security options to make sure my car doesn't get broken into and taken?
thanks in advance
ca

get you wheels balanced and an maybe an alignment.
1 way to deter theft is to physical DO something to you car that wouldnt allow them to take your car, a hidden battery switch, fuel switch, removable steering wheel, or taking you ecu with you when you leave, or autolock on all three pedals will do the trick, neither one is very expensive but it works. another thing you can do is get one of those wheel locking thingies and lock you wheels so they wont be able to tow it out of there either.

alpha lock with wheel locks, guranteed no one is driving off with your car.
