ok i just bought a jdm 23mm rear bar. And i have 2 questions.

1. Will all the all the hardware for a usdm rear bar fit the JDM(i.e: d-bracket, endlink bushing +collar etc.)??

2. what lcas do i have to use?


Car is a 92 civic dx hatchback. Thanks for the help!

you may need to drill a hole in to bolt up both bolts for the d-bracket. I dont think the dx came with a sway bar, so then you would need either a gsr or an si lca. or itr if you are going with itr suspension

if you get itr lca's then you gotta get itr shocks too.

1. I've been wondering the same. I heard you can just grease up the bushings and force it on.

2. I believe that you can use either, LS, GSR, 4 dr 92-95 Ex or ITR LCAs

i have a itr rear sway bar on my eg hatch i used the d bracket and bushing for a itr. i used integra gsr lower control arms, and end links. i used a great product from beaks performance , they use billet brackets to secure the bar to the subframe, i heard alot of people tearing bolts out of the subframe because the bar was so big. i hope this helps you out.

i just got all the parts from my local acura dealership today. i got the front and rear itr swaybars from john @ passwordjdm.com and ordered the front bolts + nuts for the brackets, the endlink bushings and nut was already there. and for the rear the beaks kit will cover the bracket nuts and for the endlinks i got the long bolt and washer that goes on the D-bracket. bushings and all were already there, but usdm stuff will of course work.

dont waste your time. i answered all your questions, and have all the usdm bolts and nuts. they all fit. same things as jdm. only difference in jdm is that they sway bars are a lil beefier. otherwise same everything else.

you will need a rear reinforcement kit. wwww.beaksproducts.com

Thanks for the help chameleon. I wasnt sure because i read an archived thread about someone have issues with using the d-bracket for a usdm bar, with the jdm bar. Didnt know if the 1mm made a difference.

Im ordering all the **** from acura too, im guessing all the brackets and such came with their respective bolts?

Also, what size is the front bar you got? same as the 24mm usdm?

damn.. it was supposed to be hush until i do my "itr sway bar install front and back + damper install" lol.. but keep it a secret ok?

im gonna run ITR Spoon/Showa dampers.
oh and 10k fr and 8k rear.
