ok, i just recently bought some JDM eg sidemarkers, and have been searching all over HT. i found 2 templates, both are different, which one would fit right with the JDM sidemarker??

I would go with the first picture because it looks easier to read.

The second picture looks like its for a different light then the one above (notice the notches?) Anyway its just about the same as the first pic just like .050'' smaller.

If you have the notches then go with picture 2. If its just a light that your putting in the fender then screwing on, then go with picture 1.

Besides no ones really going to take a measuring tape to your car to make sure its dead on.

yeah i know, but i still need the correct measurements, so i won't make the hole too big

i got a pair of jdm sidemarkers off ebay and i ended up using the second template posted and they fit perfect, i had to touch up some areas with a the grinder bit on my to get that perfect fit.

i used a very sharp pencile to transfer all the lines onto the masking tape and then double checked all my measurements with a vernier (sp?) and the template had good clearance compared to the sidemarker.

just measure everything twice, and cut once. and cut less than more.
