1999 Honda Civic Dx transmission problem
Car: 1999 Honda Civic DX Stock D16Y7 motor and transmission
Hey everyone,
I've recently started having problems with my transmission/clutch. The car started to shift hard and would not go into gear when the car is on. However, it shifts perfectly when the car is off. So, I've decided to change the clutch master cylinder and clutch slave.
I'm pretty sure everything was changed properly. The clutch fluid was also bled. However, the problem of not being able to shift into gears is still apparent. I've tried shifting the car into 1st gear when the car is off and turning on the car in 1st gear. The car stalls immediately in 1st gear.
Do I need a new clutch or transmission work?
Thanks!

How sure are you that the clutch line is bled properly ??? Did you bench bleed the master ??? Are you using genuine Honda parts ??? If not, did you compare the rod length of what you installed to what came out ???
